Rutile

Rutil is a common mineral of mineral group „oxides and hydroxides“. It crystallises in tetragonal crystal system with chemical makeup TiO2 and mostly develops short to long-prismatic, vertical striped crystals and very often twinned crystals in form of polysynthetic, lamellar and cyclic triplets and quadruplets, as well as granular to massy mineral-aggregates.
